Hi, I'm Jen!
Hello Friends! I'm Jennifer Plumley, or just Jen. I'm a lover of life, all things Disney, Star Wars, superheroes (both Marvel and DC), reading, and travel. I am passionate for all forms of health, for all forms of people.
After taking up the challenge of running a marathon, then running several of them, I was looking for something equally as challenging but a little easier on my joints. I found yoga. What started as just a physical challenge, slowly turned into more.
While going through a rough phase in life, yoga became my escape. Going to an early morning class, my instructor placed her mat down for me. When I read the words on the mat (see photo), I just started sobbing. No matter what was going on, "I was enough." After class she told me that I needed yoga teacher training.
I had this idea that yoga teacher training was just about the asanas, and how to lead a class in a flow; WAS I EVER WRONG! We learn the asanas, but YTT is also about taking all the baggage that you’ve been carrying and unpacking it. What an emotional experience to say the least!
My goal is to help others unpack as well. Maybe you are wanting to do yoga just for the physical benefits? If so, great, we can do that! Maybe you are coming for more, then that’s awesome too! I hope that I can help you break through any walls that have been built in your life. Help you break whatever limiting beliefs you may have, to be able to live a life of hope and purpose.
